Yes, a Building Permit is usually necessary, and Mr Verandah will organise this for you
What style of roof is available for my carport or garages?
Carports and garages can be constructed with a flat roof, pitched style roof, hip style or Dutch gable style. They can use Colorbond steel, polycarbonate roofing sheets or roof tiles and range of shapes and overhangs are possible.
Do you use a contract?
Yes, a simple and easy to understand contract will be provided and will need to be signed by both parties.
Do you provide a guarantee or warranty?
Yes, all of our work has a full 10-year structural warranty.
How close can I build to the boundary fence?
This varies. Some structures can be built to the fence line, but others may not be able to according to council rules and regulations. Mr Verandah will provide you with all your options.
Do you install the gutters and flashings?
Yes.
What kind of ceiling lining can be used on my outdoor structure?

We recommend the following materials:

Your garage can be constructed with a brick, render, weatherboard or Colorbond steel finishes, as well as other options that blend with the style of your existing home or add a desired feature to your property. We will discuss these options with you and help you make a decision.
Can you install a new concrete floor or driveway?
Yes, we can install a new floor and provide options.
Can you match decorative features to a period home?
Yes, we can provide a range of options for decorative features to best suit your period home, including matching turned posts, fretwork, frieze, decorative piers, eaves, etc. We specialise in custom designing structures to your unique home.
Can I have a garage door installed to my carport now or later?
Yes, we can install the garage door for you or design the garage or carport so a new garage door can be added at any later stage.
